MadePulse

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 11, 2026

MadePulse ("we", "us") helps online sellers turn their product catalog into social media posts and publish them on a schedule. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions: app@madepulse.com.

What we collect

  • Account data. Your name, email address and time zone. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
  • Store and product data you import. Product titles, descriptions, tags, product links and product photo links from your store or CSV file, and photos you upload. We do not import prices, inventory, orders or customer data.
  • Content we create for you. Post text, images and schedules generated in MadePulse or written by you.
  • Connected social accounts. When you connect Pinterest, Instagram or a Facebook Page, we store the account name, the account or Page id, your boards, and access tokens. Tokens are encrypted at rest and are used only to publish the posts you approve and to list your boards.
  • Usage and technical data. Counts of generations and posts, publishing results and error codes, and standard server logs (time, request path, status). We do not use advertising trackers.

How we use it

  • To run the service: import products, generate and render posts, schedule and publish them to the accounts you connect, and show you their status.
  • To keep the service secure and working, and to enforce usage limits.
  • We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

Service providers

We share data only with providers that run MadePulse for us, and only what each needs:

  • Supabase (database, authentication, file storage) and Railway (application hosting).
  • OpenAI, which receives product text and, for background scenes, a product photo, to write post text and create images. OpenAI's API terms say they do not use API data to train their models.
  • Pinterest and Meta (Instagram and Facebook), which receive the posts you approve when they are published to your connected accounts.
  • Google, only if you choose Google sign-in.

Platform data

Data we receive from Pinterest, Instagram or Facebook is used only to publish your approved posts and to show you your own accounts and boards inside MadePulse. We do not share it with third parties and we delete it when you disconnect the account or delete your MadePulse account.

Retention

  • Your products, posts and settings are kept while your account is active.
  • Images prepared for publishing are deleted 30 days after a post is published.
  • Disconnecting a channel deletes its access tokens immediately.
  • Backups are kept for 7 days.
  • When you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except what the law requires us to keep.

Your choices and rights

You can disconnect any channel at any time on the Channels screen, and you can also remove MadePulse's access in your Pinterest, Facebook or Instagram settings. You can ask us for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account and data by writing to app@madepulse.com. See Data deletion at /data-deletion for the steps.

Security

We use encrypted connections, encrypted storage of access tokens, private file storage, and access limited to your own workspace. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.

Children

MadePulse is for business use and is not directed to anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and tell you in the app for significant changes.
